  Saoirse Ronan owned this role and gave such an unforgettable performance. The direction painted this character with such care and empathy I often find myself rooting for her. I never had a problem with alcohol but this film made me understand. And I think that's the point.

  I'll never get tired of staring at Saoirse staring at the sea. Especially with that score.

  Ending my 2024 NZIFF on a high note with an animated film centered on a cat. Fuck yes.
  Flow is a visual treat for the eyes with its gorgeous visuals and awe-inspiring imagery. The film really took advantage of the medium to create this once-flourishing, now flooded post-human world.
