Mickey 17 2025
It critiques the neoliberal illusion that vulnerable people have the free-will and agency to sign up immoral contracts. What I found most interesting was the subtle suggestion that change does not just come from niceties but with a balance of conviction (18) and empathy (17). The Trump impersonations were too on the nose but still funny and almost impressive if it wasn’t so easy to mock him. A great caricature. The second third of the move could have done with the Challengers soundtrack.
