Hooptober 6.0: Film #1/33
Kicked off my first Hooptober with an eighties’ classic! I’m still a little surprised I never watched this as a kid, especially since Gremlins and E.T. were pretty big in my household. Loved this enjoyable little flick about furry, rolling, havoc-causing carnivores from outer space.The only major problem I had is that I wanted more critters. Guess I’ll have to watch the next three films to get my fill.
Memorable moment: The scene where a critter gets fed up with an unresponsive E.T. stuffed toy, and eats its head.

Hooptober 6.0: Film #2/33
Second movie for Hooptober, and wow was it bizarre watching it the same night as Critters. Just a stark difference in quality (and budget) between both “tiny creatures from outer space” movies. I didn’t really like a lot about this film, so I’m not going to bother going into details. I can appreciate and respect that even Rick Sloane admits it’s not great. Overall, though, I’m still glad I watched it!
