I really liked the message behind this movie, even though I haven’t been in the specific situation you can still understand where the emotions come from. Disney explores in depth into the mindset of Joy and how keeping Riley ‘safe’ and happy is her lifeline when in actuality keeping Riley away from these ‘bad things’ negatively effects her, ironically enough. Anxiety and Joy realise that micromanaging every aspect of something doesn’t help someone’s growth. The pacing was nice, not a lot felt drawn out. I appreciate the audience participation that the movie allowed. :)
