  I was a bag of nerves sitting in the back row by the bio-box, ready to jump up and adjust the audio at any moment, and David Byrne’s lyrics reminded me to embrace the utter messiness and insanity and joy of our brief time on Earth 🥹👔💡

  Loved this saucy little pious political thriller. Enthralling performances (obviously the boys are doing great work but Rossellini’s curtsy was an applause-worthy highlight), excellent script (that somehow makes the whole slow, boring ritual of voting for a new pope into a gripping affair for a full two hours) and all capped off by a brilliant, mic-drop of an ending. Amen 🙏
