CGI you’ve seen before. Godzilla spends most of the movie traveling the world, Kong spends most of the time in a watered down Planet of the Apes plot. All of the human characters are incredibly one dimensional and the dialogue is so phoned in.

I’m always going to watch a new shark movie even if most are mid at best these days. This one was a really interesting concept as far as the structure of a shark movie goes.
