Slowly crawling through my to watch list. This one has been on it for years. I think some scenes were a little too long and Kirsten Dunst's character could have been written a little better. Wasn't an awful watch, but I don't think I'll ever rewatch it.
Loved the dread, the cinematography, costumes. Not much negative to say. The theme of women being punished for their sexuality is one that has been explored endlessly, but this was a cool take on it. I wish some scenes were a little easier to see but I know that was Eggers' intent. Can't wait to see this again on streaming.
