Godzilla Minus One 2023
My first experience watching a honest to intention Godzilla film and it was intense and captivating. I was immersed in the shame and terror that our main cast did when coming face to face with an existential threat turned giant lizard. Perhaps my expectations were too low but upon allowing myself to feel every tear, melodramatic monologue, and hyperbolic action sequence I walked away feeling happy to live and ready to help someone else live as well.
