  A progenitor for modern forms of lo-fi survival horror. This movie is simeoultaneously disturbing and heartbreaking at times. The fact there is no monster doesn't take away from the scare of it. Creative ways were used to create suspense. I had a particular soft spot for the retro feel.

  Uniquely horrifying. There's truly nothing I've seen that's come close to this experience. What I thought I knew about horror in general has been swept from under my feet and thrown into the abyss. The characters slowly changing was horrifying.
