THE LIGHTING OML if i was a filmmaker i would not shut up about the cinematography and lighting in this film it is fucking masterful. Yes its dark, but the information you need to know is still clearly communicated, and the ways it works to interweave the audience and the plot and the tone and emotion and characters is just so special. Its dirty, grimey and never beautiful except of course for when it is, and you feel the intentionality of those moments.
