i had no expectations but was pleasantly surprised. i especially appreciated that they stayed true to the storyline of the previous film.

it had been a long time since i felt that a film had pushed boundaries within me, but Spoorloos achieved exactly that. its dialogues, though seemingly disconnected, weave narratives that invite participation, giving the impression that, at any moment, we could do more than just listen to lost screams in the void. it’s an experience that is both striking and predictable — because life, after all, offers no hope, even when a fleeting glimpse of a possible future seems, for an instant, within reach.
