A more apt title would be the Ken movie. The PR surrounding the film was “I am Kenough”. Barbie was subjected to a supporting role in her own film.

I’m not entirely sure how to rate this film.
Is it good? No. Is it a humorous and fun watch if you’re in the right mood? Yes.

Be warned there are a number of extremely sexually explicit scenes, but if you can get through them the dialogue and acting is John Watersesque, there’s a hippy busker that seemingly follows the main character around without intention, and the characters themselves break out in the same three hymns as they carry out their task of ridding the world of evil men. Not everything needs to be snarky and self referential. Clearly made with jaded millennials in mind, this film puts a heavy emphasis on nostalgia that comes across as trying far too hard to speak to it’s audience while still appeasing younger crowds alike.
The film seems to strive to be a modern Who Framed Roger Rabbit but focuses a little too heavily on the insides of Hollywood and not enough on heart.
