I think the first 2 acts are really good, but it kinda lost me in the third but it was funny and entertaining. The commentary on the present state of the world is nothing new but feels a little uncanny in this movie. I can’t quite explain it. When doing satire there a very thin line that must be walked but the third act of this movie kinda went off that line for me.

Dare I say this was the best musical of 2024?????????????? I was sobbing by the end which is a testament to the craft. The monkey idea works and it works well!! The musical numbers ROCK, particularly Rock DJ, She’s the One, and Let Me Entertain You. The biggest reason why this movie works is that you don’t have to have any clue who Robbie Williams is and it’s still gonna be a great time!
