  One of my patients, totally unprompted, told me at the end of one of our sessions recently that she highly recommends this movie and that I should watch it (also, this patient is Brazilian). How did this patient even know I like movies? Beats me. But anyway I will be thanking her at our next session. I almost bawled at the very end of this. I had no idea about any of these events prior to hearing about the movie, and now that I’ve watched it, I will absolutely go down a Wikipedia hole at midnight reading all about it.

  First of all: try watching this movie while you’re alone most of the day with a highly energetic toddler who is also someone you gave birth to.  Truly wild to experience what is going on screen in real life as well. Matrescence.
