Absolutely brilliant. This is the first time I’ve seen a movie by Damien Chazelle, and it was awesomely bright. The way the shots were filmed and the amazingly large amount of “theory of color” they put onto this were out of my mind. How they represented the entire movie through blue and red to finally mix it and make purple, as well as the other colors’ representations. Ngl, I had to watch a video essay about this to really understand…
