so heartbreaking, can’t believe molly (in real life) had to do it AGAIN with her children who then got taken away from her. she only saw one of her daughters 20 years later. she planned to reunite with her other daughter but died a month before the date.

the acting was amazing and so raw. i loved how they captured the slow and little melancholy parts of life whilst also the huge amazing moments. i liked how they didn’t dramatise anything- was just like real life in how the arguments played out, the acceptance and handling of upsetting news, and the romantic element. it was super intimate especially with the storyline and how it was shot. i think it perfectly encapsulates the line ‘but what is grief, if not love preserving?’ def need to rewatch alone in an empty cold room.
