  Pattinson acting and narrating how the world works is easily the best bit of the film. With most of that being in the first half, the runtime makes it become a bit of a slog. Delivery of some lines makes me think maybe it would've done better in Korean? Parasite communicated a lot without saying much, this felt a lot more in your face. Pattinson farting about a step below bottom feeder status was probably more along the lines of what I wanted from this and the first half matched that, only to then become a marvel-level stakes plot.
