Military Wives 2019
As a child who lived on a military base and whose dad died on tour, so much of this film is true, from families having the same rank as their serving member to the close community who you then lose so suddenly - it touched my heart, I know it set out to but it didn't employ the cloying sentimentality that it could have stooped to.
