  Okay, I might be in the minority, but…

  This might be the most boring film I’ve ever seen. It’s damn near impossible to bore me with a film, I find every aspect of the filmmaking process fascinating and can usually find an area of interest in the films most would categorize as “boring.” I’ll give the script a little credit, the naturalistic dialogue is occasionally hilarious, but it hardly makes up for the rest of an ill-paced and directionless mess.…

  This is it, this might damn well be it. Scorsese’s best film. (In the actors’ performances and direction, the camera work and the sense of discomfort that slowly creeps in throughout the film.)
