  When I first saw this movie I felt so bad for Michael, second time around wow what a truly boring person. The nihilism in the speech is so funny because catch any misanthropic know it all talk about the trump admin and it’s just pieces switched out.

  I do feel for him, the feeling has just been changed from empathy to pity.

  I also think the characters here are so
  Paradoxically fleshed out. Lisa is a sad person who just hasn’t given up and that’s what separates the two of them. Remarkably similar in their respective sadnesses, just as everyone is.
