  Eraserhead 1977

  I think I’ve totally switched up on Eraserhead. I love David Lynch so much, and I totally respect everything he did with his first feature film, but it just doesn’t do anything for me. It’s a rather short movie, but it feels so damn long and drawn out. He stares at a wall and an alien baby without saying anything for maybe an hour in total. I do very much admire the surrealist style, and the visual imagery is top notch. I just don’t get it, and don’t think I’ll ever really care to get it.

  Part One of Barbenheimer complete!!

  Yeah, it’s that good. Believe all the hype you’re hearing. This film is all of Nolan’s work put together. Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, and Robert Downey Jr all have practically locked in their chances at winning Oscar’s. Every single performance was incredible.
