The Village 2004
I liked it. Though that I watched it pretty passively, I understood the sense of mind control was used to keep a utopian community. That was cemented right at the end, when they ask, “should we continue our narrative since we have the chance to cover our blow?”

Sick of Myself 2022
it was genuinely an engaging movie, not once did I feel like I could predict what she would do next.
What struck me the most was the perceived competition (in comparison of the boyf) for any form of attention at the cost of your dignity, health, and well-being. I feel like it’s a good movie for the “falling down a rabbit hole” idiom. Pay attn to your loved ones and support their needs!
Three stars bc there was too much vomit for my liking. Does the director have a thing for vomit???!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!
