One of those movies I see a ton of praise for and then watch and feel like everyone is playing a Truman Show style joke on me.
It’s stupid, which can be good, but not when it relies on extreme absurdity that doesn’t land and one-liners that aren’t even breathe a little bit heavier out of your nose funny. There’s also a male-on-female violence scene that is legitimately a little bit traumatic for like no reason??? It was almost frustrating…
