I guess the plot and visuals were competent enough but I really didn't like this movie. It seemed less spiteful towards Transformers as a franchise than the previous movie and the original designs were kind of cool. I liked Soundwave being a satellite and Ravage was cute.
It was very racist and sexist though. The antisemitism was less pervasive (not difficult) but no less present. It took me a while to realize that the Witwickys were meant to be Jewish…
