  There has been such an immense beauty in all of the Sundance films so far and I’m convinced that it’s because of the simplicity of each. When I say this I mean that each story is contained to a small setting. There are no large ensembles so far. Each film is a small world in and of itself. So much detail and care for character and story. Just fantastic.

  Ok before I get into this, I need to be clear — THE PEOPLE IN THIS DOCUMENTARY ARE RIGHT. There is rampant sexual misconduct and objectification going on in film and the methods of which they are achieved are unknowingly imprinted in our brains.

  That being said, the presentation of the information was wonky to say the least. The interviews were great, but Menkes presented scenes and interpretations from films that were not super justifiable in including. At times it…
