The Banshees of Inisherin 2022
One of my favorites of the last few years. Caused mass chaos in my family (people were decidedly pro or anti-Colm) and it was worth it. Turned me into a huge fan of Colin Farrell, his performance is amazing. Feels like a play but in a good way. A few days after we watched it my dad asked me "How's your despair" So it's pretty iconic if you ask me. Recommended for anyone who has ever fought with despair and felt they were losing, for anyone who's had a friend leave them and wonder why, for anyone who has had to cut someone out with shears.
