well that's the first A24 movie that's ever made me sob

it's so refreshing seeing florence pugh give a passionate performance (as she always does) and her costar actually matches her talent. i enjoy watching florence's and glassy-eyed andrew garfield's careers develop over time. now I need to actually go watch the amazing spiderman movies...

gregory peck side-kicking off the tree while in a headlock by robert mitchum is probably one of the coolest things i've ever seen

they just don't make thrillers like this anymore

most of the new horror movies coming out lately are such unoriginal brain rot. the cinematography was cool but other than that what even was this, i think i lost some brain cells

me scrolling on prime and seeing this: screw it, it can't be that weird
me after: oh... that's why everyone was talking about this movie...

i think that's enough tv for me today

i decided to jump on the bandwagon finally and i'm sorry i did. i can appreciate the cinematography, i'll give it that much. credit is due where credit is due, the film was gorgeously stunning, but this failed if it was attempting to be a freak fest that would shock the audience - i've seen plenty worse. the story ultimately fell flat and felt unoriginal, was just not for me
