  This movie’s definitely heavy and some parts are a bit tough to watch. That said I think its greatest achievement is the way it’s able to make you feel sympathy, understanding, and even relief for Dani in spite of not necessarily disliking Christian.

  Really fascinating story that I read back in 9th grade, movie really brought it to life. Loved the theme of water throughout the movie as a juxtaposition to the flames, as well as the ignorant objectification of the “omnis” by the firefighters, who viewed it as some dangerous virus or item much more than what it actually represents, as a sort of intangible, collective consciousness shared by the eels. The comparison between Beatty and Montag throughout the film was fascinating,…
