Watched this with my brother and said about halfway thru “this is a 4.5/5 unless the ending is ruins it…”
I’m sorry the ending undoes the great writing and intertwined storylines before it. Great committed performances as well from a well casted group.
Feel like I should give this a 3.75 but will round up to a 4 because of Robert Pattinson’s performances. Enjoyable and fun watch, but definitely has some pacing issues. Also feel like the acting talents of Toni Collette and Mark Ruffalo were wasted on underdeveloped characters.
Performances are 5/5, but the rest of the movie feels like typical musical biopic fare. Wanted to give a 3.75 but gave a 4 because of my love for rock and roll, and for Ed Norton, Monica Barbara, and of course, Timmy <3
Fantastic acting, but literally caught myself saying “I’m Still Here” because I felt it last at least 20-30 minutes too long.
