    If there were ever a movie I wish I could see for the first time again, it’d be CMBYN. There’s something magical in the way Chalamet depicts queer innocence during your teenage years. 

    But watching this as a 28 y/o with a fully developed frontal lobe, SOMEONE CALL ITALIAN CPS!!!!

    I’m honestly torn between giving this a 2.5 and 4. Is this good by a sort of objective standard or measure? Absolutely fucking not. Is the acting good? At times not really. But it’s got heart and it’s so bad it’s hilarious.

    “I’ll see you later”

    I went into this expecting a true-to-form zombie horror, but instead I received probably one of the most interesting depictions and explorations of grief this year. Many films and movies have done the “bring a loved one back from the dead” trope, but just as many have been too heavy handed or sappy. Handling, pardon the pun, handles it perfectly.

    While it’s by no means gory, violent, or chaotic, its use of zombies, not as vehicles…
