Honestly I think expectations kind of held this to a degree it was never gonna live up too
For a directorial debut it was incredible I just think I wasn’t the target
For example I rly do not vibe with POV shots… and the entire movie is POV. But then there’s a couple shots (like the boxing one) where I’m like legitimately this is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen
Narratively it didn’t click for me but was still overall enjoyable
