The best non-Craig bond movie. The build up to the Red Grant-Bond train fight scene (and the fight itself) is superb stuff. 10 year old me had a crush on Tatiana Romanova. Did Connery get his hair plugs while on location in Istanbul?

Captain America: Brave New World 2025
Pretty dreadful stuff. Every non-action sequence felt like a video game cut scene (we’re talking 2k14 cut scenes with Eric Gordon’s voice acting). And the action scenes weren’t particularly thrilling or well shot. Bleh.

Denzel is a dynamo as always, but he seems like he’s in a different, more interesting movie. Would much rather watch a political revenge thriller featuring him— maybe if they cut out all references to the previous movie and got rid of Paul’s character this would be a good movie.
