  Might be coming in hot with my rating of this one because I just experienced seeing it in a theater with an introduction by the cinematographer, Frederick Elms, and we watched his own personal 35mm copy and that felt special. But yea, that was a ~~wild~~ ride. Campy, fun, sexy, gruesome, uncomfortable and tense. All of the above.

  Laura derns hair, her moms acrylic nails, and willem defoes teeth were all supporting characters. Great soundtrack and cast.

  Im truly sorry I didn’t like this more!! but lots of respect for the million Buffy references, the important themes the film explores, the music, and the pretty visuals. Really loved the idea of the movie - even if not executed to my expectations.
