  I got to experience this film in 70mm film and holy sh*t was it amazing. It changed my whole perspective on filmmaking. The story was complex but held itself together incredibly well. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so tense in a movie theater in my life. Everything about this film screams Christopher Nolan and deserves to be seen on the big screen

  An excellent story with constant suspense and conflict. Tom Hanks really displays his legendary acting skills alongside his own writing. The film really throws you into the constant decision making and critical thinking of a captain in World War II.   All I can say is that this film tried. It really did. Sandler tried being a serious actor but I don’t think he is cut out for it. The entire film revolves around him just being an idiot and the word f&$k every millisecond. The first half hour is so pointless and there is no motivation in anything any character does.
