I watched this just recently because I needed to watch all the best pictures before the Oscars. As much as it somewhat pains me to admit, (as I’m a strong Barbie supporter), this film is a cinematic masterpiece and truly deserves to win Best Picture at the Oscars. The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes 2023
The second part was so good that it made part 1 and 3 seem weak. There wasn’t enough childhood/family background and emotion in snow, whether good or bad, for me to really connect with the plot. The third act seemed too rushed. One second they’re running away together the next she’s leaving him?
