  This film is a harrowing incision of Shia’s childhood relationship with his father. I’m amazed Shia wrote this script while in rehab. We’re able to see what molded and shaped the polished actor we’ve come to adore over the years. Your heart aches for catharsis for the duration of the picture. It is beautifully written and wonderfully performed. Bravo Shia.
