  Not often do sequels live up to their predecessor but I’m glad to say this one absolutely does. It maintains the same amount of tension and gripping action. The beginning of this movie shows off intense drama and carnage that terrorism brings just as the first does with blood spilt from cartels. The military aspects again are strong suit in this film. Along with the performances of the main stars. Especially with the younger characters who really hold their own.…

  This movie is pure tension. Love how gritty and real it feels. The long wide shots and use of overheads during the tac ops strengthens the emersion. The brutality of the war on cartels is shown front and center is this. Overall really enjoyed this film def gonna check out the sequel.

  Incredible! The acting was terrific and gave me strong “stage acting” vibes but from some of today’s most talented stars. Standouts were obviously Nicholas Holt and Lily Ross Depp but Aaron Taylor Johnson and Willam dafoe were my top 2. Bill skarsgard should win every award for this.
