Glad to confirm Black people may not fit into Wes Anderson's vision, but nazis sure do.
Writer-Director James Cameron does it again, and buy does it again I mean scammed me out of 20 bucks. He sat down and said "I wanna make history," and he did that in the Bernie Madoff sense of the word.
Personally I wouldn't watch this film without the IMAX or 3D and I can't say the plot itself justified its over 3-hour runtime, but it does keep your attention. It's a very pretty film that lived up to its predecessor…
Definitely a Wes Anderson film. It has all the vibrant colors, choreography and beautiful set design you'd expect of him, though the story wasn't something that I felt was too engaging. I wouldn't say its hard to follow, I'd say I didn't care to follow it much. Props to Wes, the task of making a French film interesting borders herculean, but he came so close.
