The Wild Robot is a new film by DreamWorks that tells the story of a robot stranded in the wild and her journey to survive and find a sense of belonging in the woods. I enjoyed the first half of the movie, especially how it explains why the animals can talk by having Roz "learn" their language. The part where she becomes Brightbill’s mom, befriends the fox Fink, and teaches Brightbill to swim and fly was particularly heartwarming.
