The symmetry of the Statue of Liberty and the cross shots? Beautiful. Absolutely great performances too of course, but I’m surprised Guy Pearce hasn’t gotten more love for this. I think he was head and shoulders above the rest of the best supporting category this year (and I still really liked Kieran Culkin’s performance).
