This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
One of my favorite scenes is when the doctor presents John's case to his colleagues using scientific medical terminology (skull exostoses, papillomatous tumors, etc.). But ultimately in his concluding statement he refers to John using the same name given to him at the freak show: the Elephant Man. A term associated with a ridiculous myth that the ringmaster came up with–a far cry from the scientific goal of describing disease manifestations and mechanisms.

this stretched my suspension of disbelief beyond the limit. "the first ones were dinosaurs" [creature that looks mostly reptilian] "it's pregnant! something something umbilical cord" ok. also IF YOU HAVE SWORDS WHY LEAVE THEM AS THE LAST RESORT.
the concept of drift was interesting but underdeveloped. mako was barely a character and raleigh was painfully bland. newton has nothing on hange from attack on titan. nonetheless it wasn't a bad movie just not for me.
