This shit set up an atmosphere so hairy I was ready to watch a grizzled father and his innocent son survive a violent forest that wanted them dead, forcing them to become closer and emotionally open to survive.
Then the screen said “thirty years later”.
Like Vision beaming information into Ultron’s head I saw the entire plot in an instant- as Hollywood unleashed its full moon form: a cheap plot cop-out that could've been about any monster and it wouldn’t change.
Then the movie ends. And all you see next is a singular:
“L”
Maybe the wolf man was the dads we killed along the way.
