James Gunn did his thing with this movie. Watched it for the first time in theatres in Korea with my brother and 5 more times after that. Every watch feels like the first watch. Only watched bc I was watching with a girl who likes kdramas. Tbh the main boy love interest in this movie was actually unbearable. Bro was lowkey trying to finesse the girl his best friend was interested in behind his back. His personality is also all over the place and makes some pretty stupid/inconsistent decisions that make him pretty unlikeable. His best friend seems like the better guy imo. Overall, the plot wasn’t too bad at all and it had some pretty funny scenes.

Great cinematography per usual from A24 films. Very cryptic not in just the direction but the underlying tones/message which can be frustrating for some but something I don’t mind too much.
