  I am so close to having my BA in Sociology with a minor in Asian American studies and still I'm struggling to put my finger on what this movie is trying to say by putting Maggie Cheung in strange situations in France where she is constantly an outsider even to those who genuinely love her and she also has to wear a tight black latex suit.
