Bone Tomahawk 2015
I watched this movie because I read that it's a classic amongst horror fans. I truly cannot fathom why. The idea of sci-fi meets western period horror is always exciting to me, but I've yet to watch a film or even a show that does it well. This director's creativity went no further than slapping Predator-rip-off prosthetics on indigenous characters and coming up with new ways to sexually torture women, in this fantasy where "'Savages' really did exist!!!"
Some people would be better off making snuff films. Which is illegal. But at least the general public wouldn't suffer their fantasies <3Translated from by -

Truly horrific. Probably haven't felt so engaged with horror in this particular way since movies like Hereditary and Creep, where the most terrifying elements are from the unpredictability of the characters. Nic Cage....idk where he pulled that from but maybe he should be on a list.
