Such a beautiful and well made work of art. I just saw a restored color version of the film on Mubi.
I am astonished, the performances are so theatrical, as well as the set design and depth effect. The fading of the image in the scenes is so smooth that it immersed me in the magical atmosphere of how the technology was perceived at the time the film was shot.
Thanks to the restorers for give us back this film.

Watching his journey unfold through in-game interactions was a unique and creative storytelling choice, highlighting the power of digital worlds to create real, meaningful connections.

What struck me most was the film’s focus on the essential role people with disabilities play in society. Ibelin makes you think about how much everyone, regardless of ability, contributes to our collective humanity. This is a powerful reminder of the value of inclusive spacesβ€”both online and offline. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to be moved and inspired by resilience and community.
