A wonderful story filled to the brim with Irish folklore. This film really shows that hand drawn animation can still be done beautifully in the modern age. If you love hand drawn animation, this is must watch.

Grave of the Fireflies 1988
No film has made me uncontrollably cry as much as this one did. An extremely important piece of media that depicts the horrendous conditions of innocenct Japanese civilians during WWII that had nowhere to go and nothing to eat. Please do yourself a favor and watch this movie.

Wow. I have watched a lot of uncomfortable films and some really great horror movies. None of them have made me PHYSICALLY SQUIRM except this one. Rather than jumpscares and gore, they make uncomfortable scenes drag on for minutes at a time and make you suffer through the implied violence. This movie is a masterclass on how to make the viewer physically uncomfortable and on how to make an extremely effective horror movie. An absolute must watch.
