The story is great and the food will leave you drooling on each scene. However, the pacing feels very off at times, and is hard to know how much time has passed between scenes, making the actions of the main character kinda weird and disconnected. It absolutely didn’t need to be that long and could have been trim down at least 30-45 minutes.

Silent Night 2021
I’m sorry but there’s not a single likable character in this thing. How do you expect me to feel bad or sympathetic for their deaths?
Also why was everyone behaving like this was episode 5 of a series where we know everyone’s story already? It felt so convoluted, confusing, and jarring.Interesting concept in paper, I guess, but awful execution.

Liked: Beautifully animated, specially the water and the scenes on the bridge. Also really good camera work and depth of field details.
Disliked: Almost unwatchable. The only thing that saves this movie is the fact that it is a really beautiful anime. If this was a live action film, I would have stop it after the first 30 or 40 minutes.

Disliked: Absolutely nothing.
Liked: This film is what cinema is supposed to be. I love a movie that is capable of make me extremely uncomfortable, but then make me burst out laughing, and then makes me sad. This movie has everything. This director has balls, I don't even know how he managed to pitch this film, but I applaud him for it.
