    North by Northwest

    ★★★★

#NorthByNorthwest keeps you on your toes for most of the film, with a so so finish to a brilliant first two acts; as Hitchcock overstays his welcome with the 2+ hour runtime. Eva Marie Saint is stunning as the female lead, overshadowing Cary Grant, which is hard to do.

    Wrong Turn 2: Dead End

#WrongTurn2: Dead End may start out with a great death scene, things quickly go downhill as they up the sex and gore to a laughable 11, making this franchise the beginnings of a splatter fest with nothing much more, all while giving Halloween Resurrection vibes.

    Marriage Story

    ★★★★½

Marriage Story, though possibly a rehash or Kramer vs. Kramer, still is able to hit all the right notes in making a great film. Starting the excellent Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver (who should be given the Oscar for Best Actor right now) bring this film To an all time high.

As a viewer, you don’t know who you are supposed to be rooting for, do you root for the workaholic husband who loves his child, or do you root…

Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood

    ★★★★

Once Upon A Time...In Hollywood is Quentin Tarantino’s love letter to old Hollywood. Leonardo Decaprio shines as a washed up actor trying to get with the times, while his best friend/stunt double (Brad Pitt) just tries to get by.

This film doesn’t feel like a norms Quentin Tarantino film, it feels truly like what he would want Hollywood to be now, it’s almost an alternate reality. It also doesn’t have the usual gore that his movies usually have (at least until the end..)

I would highly recommend this film to any Quentin Tarantino enthusiast or someone who loves Old Hollywood.
