Sound of Metal 2019
wonderful story and writing. The cinematography is subtle and consistent. Unique characters and is probably the best depiction of what it's like to go deaf. GREAT acting by Riz Ahmed and Olivia Cooke. It was nice to see her in something else before House of Dragons. Definitely feel like we are experiencing the loss of hearing with him and the struggles. The idea of having muffled audio was a simple yet effective tactic to intensify the impact of going deaf.
